Kitchen apron

Completed kitchen apron from puppy dog fabric.

Next school holidays, why not create something practical? Learn to sew, meet new people, and have a great time sewing something beautiful. Parents, who rely on vacation care during school holidays, this is an opportunity for your kids to do something completely different!

During this kid’s school holidays workshop, participants will learn to sew and decorate a kitchen apron. Kids can choose from a variety of styles – they can create something for mum or dad, or encourage their own love of cooking with an apron for themselves!

When are school holiday “camps” on?

I hold school holiday “camps” (day-long events) most weekdays during school holidays. Activities start at 9:00am and finish at 3:pm.

Who should attend?

I generally recommend school holidays activities for school students from 10 – 18 years old. I allow a maximum of 5 participants to book each day so that each participant gets individual attention.

What is included?

  • Use of individual sewing machines, which means participants will have their own machine the whole time they are here.
  • Cookies and fruit tea (participants should bring their own lunch, other snacks and a bottle of water).
  • All relevant patterns and design resources to allow participants to make their own apron.
  • All fabrics and materials (though students can bring their own if they have some they would like to use.
  • Other decorative elements, including hard-wearing straps and ties.

How much does it cost?

Individual ticket: $230
Bring-a-friend ticket: $205 each

How do I book?

Bookings are essential and each of my school holidays workshops is listed on ClassBento, the artisan classes platform.
